Equity
A dollar of every Gorge Pass goes to support our Gorge Equity Fund. Also, for each Gorge Pass you buy for your staff,
we will donate one to the Fund through our Buy One, Give One program.
Cost
Studies show the average annual cost of owning a car can be $10,000. Public transit helps offset these expenses while supporting access to affordable housing, healthcare, and education.

Transportation Options
We are reaching out to businesses and organizations in the Gorge with free info sessions on transportation, including: a fun into to our new coordinated transit system; the annual Gorge Transit Pass; trip Ideas; and transportation options including car pooling, van pools, car sharing, EV charging, and bikes.
We are available for in-person or zoom presentations with you or your staff, as well as tabling or one-on-one travel planning.
Travel Trainers
We have two great Travel Trainers in our region who can help your employees navigate the system. They can walk anyone through how to set up the digital pass on their phone, how to create an ideal commute, how to navigate any transfers, how to read a schedule and even how to plan a weekend trip.
Downtown Passes
The Cities of The Dalles and Hood River have teamed up with their transit providers to offer employees of downtown businesses and residents living in the downtown zone a free 12-month Gorge Transit Pass. This program offers free transit passes to eligible employees and residents, encouraging the use of public transit and contributing to a more sustainable and livable community.
Buy One, Give One
Buy 10 or more Gorge Passes for your employees or through your organization and we will donate matching passes to the Equity Fund.
Retailers and organizations can also participate easily by simply promoting the pass and asking buyers to list your name as the retailer in the online sales form. Once 10 or more purchases list a particular business this way, matching passes will automatically be donated to the Equity Fund in their name.
The Equity Fund is a 501c3 so direct donations are tax deductible. Due to the time it takes to set up each order, sales of a minimum of 10 passes are needed before an employer qualifies for the Buy One, Give One program. Give One donations currently apply to the first 4000 sales.
Give your employees the gift of car-free travel in the beautiful Columbia Gorge—including visits to Multnomah Falls, strolling through small-town main streets, skiing, wine tasting, bike rides, and gorgeous hikes year round. Gorge employees can also use the Gorge Pass to commute, which may qualify for tax credits.
