Gorge Pass

One annual pass for unlimited rides on all four Gorge transit services (fixed routes only). $40 for adults and $20 for kids under 17. Available as physical card or on your phone.

• PURCHASE ONLINE: buy the pass, send it to your phone, and show the activated pass to the driver. You’ll get a text from Token Transit to download the app. Passes can also be gifted by entering someone’s phone number.
• GIFT A PASS: Send a Gorge Pass to a friend! It gives a year of unlimited rides on all fixed-route buses in the Gorge, including service to Portland. They’ll get a text with simple instructions to start using it—makes a great gift and supports local transit.

Columbia Area Transit

Columbia Area Transit (CAT) serves Hood River County, Oregon

SINGLE TRIP FARE:

• • $1 local one-way bus fare (Hood River City, Upper Valley, Cascade Locks)
  • $10 one-way ticket Columbia Gorge Express Route (between Hood River and Portland)
  • $2 Between The Dalles and Cascade Locks. Not available online.
  • Pay on the bus or at the CAT offices. Payment available online
  • SENIORS/KIDS/BENEFITS: Hood River middle school and high schoolers are eligible for free Gorge Pass. The Go Vets Columbia Gorge program provides Veterans with transit opportunities through free fares and passes, along with travel training on how best to use the transit system. The Link Public Transit

The Link serves Wasco County, Oregon (primarily The Dalles and surrounding areas)

SINGLE TRIP FARE: 

• $1 one-way bus fare on fixed Link routes
• $1 The Dalles to Hood River
• $1 all around the Dalles (The Dalles Blue Line/The Dalles Redline)
• ADDITIONAL INFO: Shopping Bus: $3 door-to-door in The Dalles (Mon/Wed 10–2). Hood River: 1st Fri & 3rd Wed.
  South County Shuttle: Tue/Thu to The Dalles. $5 (Maupin/Tygh), $3 (Dufur). Tickets: Buy at The Link, or pay exact cash.
• SENIORS/KIDS/BENEFITS: Dial-a-ride runs Mon–Fri 6 AM–7 PM, Sat 9 AM–4 PM. Rides are $2 each way and must be scheduled. Service includes The Dalles, Dufur, Mosier, Celilo Village, and nearby areas. Click here for info on fare assistance programs.

Skamania County Transit

Skamania County Transit serves Skamania County, Washington

SINGLE TRIP FARE:

• $1 one-way bus fare inside Skamania County (e.g. Stevenson/Carson/North Bonneville)
• $2 one-way bus fare outside of Skamania County (e.g. Vancouver/White Salmon/Cascade Locks)
• $0.50 local ride and $1 ride outside county for children 11-17
• Only accept exact cash payment.
• ADDITIONAL INFO: The bus can deviate up to ¾ mile from the route, including for disabled riders near Wind River Hwy and SR 14. Request one day ahead at 509-427-3990. Exact cash payment
• SENIORS/KIDS/BENEFITS: Unaccompanied passengers under the age of 12 must have an adult call for pre-authorization to ride. Kids 10 and under ride for free and kids 11-17 ride at half price. Donation based for people 60 and over for medical rides and essential services. Mount Adams Transportation Services

Mt. Adams Transportation Service (MATS) serves Klickitat County, Washington, with routes extending to The Dalles and Hood River, Oregon

SINGLE TRIP FARE: 

• $1 one-way bus fare on fixed routes
• $1 Goldendale to The Dalles
• $1 White Salmon/Bingen to Hood River
• Pay with exact cash.
• ADDITIONAL INFO: The bus will deviate up to 3/4 mile off the fixed route to accommodate passengers. Requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Pay with exact cash.
• SENIORS/KIDS/BENEFITS: MATS vehicles have bike racks and can transport your ride across the Hood River Bridge. Click here for info on fare assistance programs.

Tri-Met Portland Transit System

• SINGLE TRIP FARE: Fares: Adults (18–64): $2.80 per 2½ hours. Honored Citizens (65+, Medicare, disabled, low-income, veterans, military): $1.40. Youth (7–17): $1.40. Payment: Tap the green Hop reader with a phone, credit card, Hop card, or ticket. On buses, tell the driver your fare type, pay in cash, and take your printed ticket.
• ADDITIONAL INFO: Fares: Same for TriMet bus, MAX, and WES. Pets must be in a secure carrier. Service animals allowed without one—drivers may ask for confirmation and guidelines must be followed.
• SENIORS/KIDS/BENEFITS: Reduced fares available for seniors, youth, disabled riders, low-income riders, veterans, and active-duty military.

C-TRAN Vancouver Transit System

• SINGLE TRIP FARE: Options for single ride ticket, day pass, and month pass. Costs range from $1.25 to $3 for adult single ride ticket. Pay with cash, Hop cards, contactless payment with debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.
• ADDITIONAL INFO: Transfers to TriMet: Regional or Express Hop card payments are accepted. Passengers paying with cash are required to purchase an additional regional fare when boarding TriMet. TriMet no longer accepts paper transfers or cash upgrades. Pets are allowed on C-TRAN buses, but they must be contained in a pet carrier
• SENIORS/KIDS/BENEFITS: Free transit for under 18 (Youth Program). Free for Clark College & WSU Vancouver students (Education Pass). Free for veterans & active military (Heroes Pass). C-VAN users can load Hop cards by mail (call 360-695-0123). Employer & agency programs offer transit support for workers, non-profits & government agencies. C-TRAN offers discounted fares for Low Income, Honored (senior, disabled, Medicare), and Attendant riders. Visit C-TRAN or call to check eligibility and start the process.
