This summer, ride the bus and earn prizes!

Gorge Transit’s Summer of Freedom gives kids and teens the chance to take the bus, explore, and get prizes.
Prizes include pizza, pool passes, doughnuts, ice cream and more.

How to participate:
THE DALLES
Who can play? All youth ages 17 and under. Kids 10 and younger ride for free with any paying passenger!
Step 1: Grab Your Prizes at the following locations (while supplies last):
- The Link Transit Center
- The Dalles Library
- ODHS Child Welfare Office
- WonderWorks
- TNDI Kelly Ave Office
Step 2: Ride & Stamp! Hop on a The Link bus this summer and stamp your prize card with the driver! (one per ride)
Step 3: Get your free stuff! Turn in the stamped prize at each location for yum/ fun.
HOOD RIVER
Who can play? Middle or high schoolers (17 years or younger)
Step 1: Grab Your Prizes at the following locations (while supplies last)
- CAT Transit Center
- Hood River Library Main Branch
- Mt. Hood Creamery (after 12pm)
Step 2: Ride & Stamp! Hop on a CAT bus this summer and stamp your prize label with the driver! (one per ride)
Step 3: Get your free stuff! Turn in the stamped prize at each location for yum/ fun.
How To Ride
Buses are just $1 per ride – simply give the driver your dollar.
Students in The Dalles ride for free – just flash your student ID to the bus driver.
Students in Hood River receive an annual Gorge Transit Pass which gives unlimited rides for a year. Pick up yours at school or by visiting the CAT Transit Center with your school ID. Then just flash your Gorge Transit Pass to the driver.
